About me

Hey,

my name is Connie, I am a Berlin based artist, musician, medicine woman, yogi, bodyworker. I am here to be of service for my community as a bridge keeper between ancestral healing methods from the Amazon and our Western culture.

I am devoted to fully follow and trust my heart’s guidance, free myself from the drama my mind creates, integrate whatever I struggle to see and to acknowledge, to embody and embrace existence and it’s potentials so that I can live up to my True Self.

The intention of my work is to accompany you on your path of transformation towards expressing your True Self, of integrating the parts and aspects that are in the way of you experiencing the freedom of your authenticity and empowerment.
I am happy to be in this cocreation together with you.

My approach is a body based somatic inquiry and expands to different modalities addressing body, mind and soul, such as somatic coaching, Compassionate Inquiry (after Dr. Gabor Maté), massage and bodywork, intuitive singing, shamanic practices, aroma and plant baths, amongst others.

You and your body already hold all the wisdom and all answers that are needed for you to get into deeper aspects of Self. With curiosity and in a non-judgemental compassionate container, we can look into what is present for you and explore what wants to arise and be seen.

My experiences and influences

I began my plant medicine journey back in 2015 outside the megalopolis of São Paulo in Brazil. The ceremonies that I experienced there, the sense of community, the music, the spirituality… it shook my world and planted seeds for a whole new life to begin.

Only five months later I found myself in my first six months master plant dieta in Pucallpa, Peru, apprenticing in the Shamanic lineage of the Shipibo-Konibo.I had no clue what I actually engaged in and already some months into my dieta I started realizing the depth of the transformation that already started happening.

The story is long and complex and beautiful and wild and sometimes sad. But for now I would like to keep it short. I am still apprencticing in Shipibo tradition and I also see myself as part of a beautiful European Daime family.

Ayahuasca is my main plant medicine teacher and I am full of gratitude and respect for all the teachings that I received. The medicine revealed aspects of myself that were dormant, experiences that were suppressed, opened up talents and gifts I didn´t even dream about. I am in awe with the intelligence with which the plant teachers seem to orchestrate my life circumstances and patiently unravel my full potential. It is an ongoing always evolving process and offering now my service to you is another step on this path.

Together with my first ceremonies Yoga came into my life and became my daily practice ever since. In my two years yoga teacher training I deepened my understanding on yogic philosophy, breathwork and meditation besides the physical asana practice.

It was fascinating how the ancient yogic wisdom and the wisdom of the plants and the shamanic traditions complemented each other in the most beautiful synergetic ways.

I assisted in and facilitated group retreats from the very beginning, with some breaks in between where I focussed on my own healing.
I am a trained massage therapist and am currently enrolled in two trauma-related professional trainings. One is the Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, the other one is Holistic Bodywork, a contemporary approach to bodywork that combines the knowledge of traditional healing methods with insights and treatment approaches from coaching and trauma therapy.

I am a visual artist and I love sharing medicine songs that I receive from spirit.

My motivation

In all these years I learned to hold space for myself. Not only in the several weeks lasting isolation of the dieta space but also in my daily life. And still, I moved countries and places often, always looking for a home or a tribe of like-minded people to join. My medicine family today lives spread around the globe.

I know how important it is to have friends and people around to talk to, who can understand our experiences with the medicine because they have been there themselves. I experienced times of despair and confusion but I couldn´t go the way through western psychological systems to seek help, I thought they wouldn´t be able to understand. Luckily I was always guided towards the right people.

Today I want to create the opportunity for people to come together in a physical space in Berlin, form a community of same spirited seekers, sing together, share experiences, witness each other in our being and becoming.

I want to be a friend and guide on your medicine path, if you need one.
